@eXec
Please stop quoting from that crappy site, of course it's not true. Mobunny, Well I'm not allowed to use the words I need to describe my opinion about that site here, so I won't.

@eXec

You have been around for long enough to know that MooBunny is full of frustrated haters who would go to great lengths to sling mud on anything and anyone. It could as well be called PooBunny, that site. I fail to understand why you bring a piece of unfounded crap post from an anonymous Moo-ser here. Have you not been warned of your trollish posting behaviour of lately?

This is not the perfect time, it should have been months ago they started building up serious hype towards their project, with great snippets of info, etc. They are too silent, which makes people like exec capable of starting a FUD campaign....sad really.

Me I belive they're working their asses of, and have a few surprises for us when the X1000 is released.

It's all true!

I was there; the fight between Trevor and Ben was dirty. Everyone who was at the show knows it and must have seen it! I really don't know why this has not been spilled before! I for myself did not tell anything to anyone because I threatened Trevor. Might be others did the same. I got an extra discount on the X1000 beta testing and pushed he had to make sure I was one of the first to get the new hardware. Now I got what I wanted, the delivery was yesterday, so now I don't care a dime about our agreement and about him and I'll spill everything out!
But it looks like he had his little revenge too. The x1000 sits here, I turned it on just one time then it blew up in smoke. I bet he told varisys to build in a defective switch.
At least I got two extra red-white mint-cherry candies he used to give away. But I'm not sure they are safe.. Do you want a candy.. exec?

Just a typical moobunny sermon, look how Jorkany and Dammy lap it up.

Conspiracy theory 101

A ) State your pet theory (eg. Barack Obama is an android robot controlled by aliens operating from their base in Area 51.)

B ) Challenge people to disprove your theory
Quote:

1. If it did in fact happen, I find it hard to believe the people involved would comment

2. If it didnt happen they need to post.

3. If 2 doesnt happen we know 1 is true!

C )Add option 4. If 2 does happen, it's a cover up proving 1 is true.

Smoke and mirrors!

@All

As somebody who is on the waiting list and laid down there money for this X1000 project and considers Trevor a friend now, I can honestly say that I am not going to be worried by something on Moo Bunny and I will continue to wait patiently for it to be delivered.

I would not be surprised if they had a falling out, trust me, people who have put so much into a project can disagree, I once fell out with my partner James at Checkmate Digital over an Amiga tower project but it gets resolved.

Maybe I will be disappointed but I doubt it.

Steve

I read this all as a childish way to get some sort of news from A-Eon. But then, my money isn't in this.

@Nimrod

That analogy was rather lacking... comparing proving a president is a robot and that there was a falling out between 2 business people is hardly comparable.

It could all easily be dispelled by anyone from either party by posting a little post. :)

Probably not literally true.But does it change a lot? The fact is X1000 is delayed massively. Timberwolf delayed massively.
The only ones showing constant progress are Acube.

@realize

Since I do not wish to give any semblance of support to the rumours being spread, the conspiracy I specified in my previous post was carefully chosen to be implausible, irrelevant, and entirely unconnected with the story posted by eXec.

The only way to avoid erroneous conclusions beig drawn from argument 3. or argument 4. is to ignore the bait contained in statement 2.

Or to put it more simply.
Is there anything that warrants a reply from either Trevor or Ben?

That's debatable. The Brothers said they will merge their code with 4.0 release, and 4.0 is still in RC.

I normally refrain from posting in this type of thread, believing it does more bad than good and gives credence to the original "story". Suffice to say the A1-X1000 project is continuing as planned.

I believe that the last post translates to "EOS" (end of story)

They said they will merge with 4.0 once their development was late already. True, they never gave a release date, but implicitly when they showed it first time ages ago they did.

Any idea why Varysys don't list PA6T products any longer? Too outdated, too flawed, too expensive?

the more time it pass the more sour you're getting, cheer up. And if you are not interested in these products why do you waste so much time and energy I wonder...

@TrevorDick

Good news Trevor ! Thanks. Im still on the OS4.x sidelines but hoping the best for the X1000 and hope for continued progress on OS4 on Acubes boards as well, while we also enjoy the remaining classic hardware and the continuing FPGA solutions..

Also AROS. That I have a machine capable of running -

Id root for MorphOS as well if I had a possibility to run it somewhere ..

Only thing Id wish for is a WinUAE system expanded with OS4 style expansions .. OS4 running ontop of windows or OS X ! Like the good old Amiga DE idea .. Or maybe like AmiCygnix or something is on AmigaOS now. Just faster I hope.

Im serious !! WinUAE expanded with PPC emulation through pearpc or something and having a complete OS4 experience and dev environment on Windows, OSX and Linux !!
That would bring in users ! And then to run the OS4 on X1000 and SAM natively .. !

This couldnt possibly do anything but expand the userbase in time !

And in the end converge on ARM !
