When all this delays are a part of your plan, you might lose a lot of credibility

@Tomppeli

It took me all of 5 mins to find the original pic, then about another 5 to change some of the text, Of course it was a joke, I thought if someone was spouting rubbish, I'd join in the fun.

Seems like our office. We seldom meet initial deadlines. We can but we would output rubbish nobody cares about.

I'm not really worried about 'plans' and 'schedules' and 'release dates' and so on.
No, not at all. My bucks are still in my pocket. If he wants them, he knows what to do.

What intrigues me most is why Trevor would use the word 'Suffice'. Certainly there
must be a hidden, perhaps alternate, meaning to everything he has posted before and
after that word, 'Suffice'. Especially, when in his SAME post in this very thread he
bandied about the word 'continuing'.

Ah-Hah! Now we have something to hold him to.

What do you suppose he meant by using those two words in the same sentence?

What's he up to anyway?

Well, I'm not going to just sit here and put up with those type of antics,,,,,
I'm heading over to moo-bunny to get the REAL scoop on this funny business.

MorphOS doesn't have anything to do with that. Being MorphOS user means that I cannot be interested in X1000?

It is just my observation that people with MOS logo as avatar is those who bitch most even though majority of them arent interested in ANY OS 4.1 product.

And i have a feeling you are one of those as well...

And do you think it is strange that hyperion and aeon dont want to comment much on forums these days??
Everything they say is used against them by people like you even when they try to just kill a fabricated lie like the one in this very thread.

At what age should I discuss it?

P.S. I'm flexible about my age.

Is that true or false? Please comment....

Well, I sincerely hope not, because if it is, then I would imagine that that might be the final nail in the coffin for Hyperion and their AmigaOS4 because I fear that they would take AOS4 down with them if their ship sunk.

If it is just a rumour with no basis in reality whatsoever, then all I would have to say is that this is what tends to happen when you have little or no communication with the public - whether to report issues, delays or successes - over a period of months.

What is scarry about this is that they were just as quiet as this the last time legal problems arose between AInc. and Hyperion. Can a tiger change it's stripes? I certainly hope so. But like someone else in this thread stated, this might the cue that Hyperion and company need to update the public in order to shutdown the rumour mill. Otherwise I can only imagine the rumours that will fly should nothing be communicated to the community by March 31!

@Tomas

So what would you tell me If I would have for example boing avatar? That is really simple thinking. I had a big interest in X1000 until I saw an agreement to sign.

Can you see me "bitching" as u said on this forum agains OS4, Hyperion or other AmigaOS related ppl or companies?

And yes - I do think that "no comment" strategy is lame, especially when we are talking about ppl dreams, hopes and other stuff as well. It's Amiga world m8, loads of #### was already taken by that community.

At least I enjoy your posts (they never fail to provide a chuckle or two ).

We might as well go back doing what we were doing before this stinking pile of BS came about, wasted time my friend, let me tell ya...

Have to trust Trevor's comment, but considering Hyperion's poor track record with product delivery, I don't think we'll see it any time soon. I'm only pointing fingers at Hyperion because that's the name on the product. Lots of things cause delays, particularly money and companies with Amiga in the name.

I have been advised to take BS with a grain of salt. However, I'm on a low-salt diet
and therefore refuse to take it.

Also as someone else pointed out here the new deadline when it comes to beta boards is by end of this month.

What has happened to the definition of a "deadline"?

It used to mean "go beyond this line, and you are dead". Literally (the expression's origins are in the American Civil War, referring to the limits beyond which a prisoner may not venture without being shot)!

Let's refer to these schedule announcements as what they are --- tentative plans which may change at a whim, without consequences for the project and without a perceived need to inform the minor stakeholders.

Or, possibly, set an actual deadline. Those can be very motivating...

@umisef

So judgemental, for an outsider with nothing on the line.

@ll

Some self serving machination to stir the pot claiming a fight
between the principals then thoroughly mixed into general
condemnation of the project with all the usual naysayers
chiming in.

The thread should have been locked or killed at its birth.
It serves no good purpose.
