those images look like an office at varisys. there are at least three unique boards shown in the photos as well as a checklist for the board testplan. i would assume the laptop is driving testpatterns and/or driving the on-chip test features, if any. it doesn't indicate -- by itself -- that the boards are shipping to the beta testers yet.

on the other hand, can any of the testers confirm or deny receipt of their boards? anyone? trevor?

looking forward to whatever news is coming in the next AF magazine. this feels like reading the tea leaves.

Yep, those are mine I just sneaked into Varysis office and took a few shots. While going up there, I met Trevor... I had to gag him and put him in the back of my car for a while (Remember: Trevor couldn't log into here for a while: here.
I sold the photos to Bill... and he gave me heaps of bucks for it....

No just kidding, I am not owning them.... but yes, I was the first one . Download Addslideshow light for example and have a look at the included "undertitled slideshow".

You may also grab iBatch or any other EXIF compatible Tool (iBatch website) and have a look into EXIF Header, some are still original ones...

@kas1e

Nice pics, the testbench looks like a scene from the Lorraine at CES days - good things to come!

Right above Timberwolf in the bottom left corner. I would also like to see inside that "Secret Projects" drawer too.

@TheKorn

the screenshots of both OS4 and debian are those provided by A-EON in their update last month.

He hasn't got one...or maybe what he is trying to suggest is that there are no warehouses full of motherboards...
