I find it somewhat hilarious that the fourth screenshot shows an HD-DVD drive installed on this "Amiga HTPC".

Hmmm... Page refuses to load under IE6, giving a lecture about an out of date browser etc. No big loss I guess, but what does it make of Amiga browsers?

Hey, if they'd stand it on it's front side, slice about 2+ inches out of the silhouette, and put it back together again, the rounded edges would be on the same plane as the A1000. And the name badge would match what was on my A1000.

Too bad that name badge is the only thing "Amiga" about it.

They could strike a deal with Hyperion to have Dolphin emulator + AOS4 on every box + AmigaForever.

Then, perhaps, ok. (otherwise it's just name r*****)

edit:
"Commodore OS will also be classic Commodore compatible, with the cability to run classic 8-bit, 16-bit and 32-bit era software via emulation."
I wonder what it will include... I would love to see AOS4 SW + AOS3 SW there rather than lawyers in court., AGAIN

@Turrican3

HD-DVD drive is unfortunate, isn't it?

@redrumloa

HD-DVD drive is too cutting edge, they should have opted for a DVD-RAM cartridge drive, or even better a Jaz.

Seriously, that case seems like a microwave to me, there are definitely better looking HTPC cases around..

Hey, that's it:

http://www.origenae.co.kr/en/htpc_s16t.htm

It's like €660?!

Well said, interesting to see Amiga name and BoingBall logo wallpaper
all over the computers. Next might be Amiga toaster (but not video one )))

Seems Amiga Inc will get quite a lot revenues and live forever without products.
Clever asset that licence name. Now, they didn`t get that stupid to quit the court case at all.

Don`t you worry. Amiga is not protected by Amiga Inc, and CUSA, its now protected by Icontain

Now, you can have everything Amiga - from phone, tablet, TV to CUSA super workstatiom. And nothing Amiga at the same time.

Interesting times.

Our modern day AMIGA incarnation will feature "Commodore OS", a distinctive, attractive, advanced and stable Operating System experience...
I wonder what that all means?! Sounds like i'm listening to a used car salesman...

It probably means they haven't figured out what they are going to do yet.

@AmigaBlitter

BoingBall is being licensed to Hyperion and IContain, while it seems CUSA is getting just the vRainbow.
