Well, I was suscribe to the list, and I think that is a "fraud" because in the Pre-Ordering page only you has two options Kickstarter Page and Donate, and second don't show "Buy or Pre-Order" only the people that have paid, is the last time that I put money in an Amiga project, the last.

Don`t get hasty my friend, especialy because you did the right thing.

Proper way to go was to go over Kickstarer page
http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/vivaamiga/viva-amiga-the-documentary-film
where you would pre order the movie and get your name on the list of benefactors.

If you kicked away donation, that should be anonymous and no receipt should be given in return.

Its not late to contact author (including http://www.youtube.com/user/vivaamiga )
and get yourself a 100$ level package
http://www.flickr.com/photos/vivaamiga/5655338364/in/photostream/lightbox/
DVD, Movie Soundtrack, Extras Disc, Limited Edition Signed "Pre-Order" Poster, Viva Amiga Button, a "Thank You" message in the credits, plus benefactor listing on amigafilm.com.

@vox

Thank you for your help the first, I visited the web and from this link:
http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/vivaamiga/viva-amiga-the-documentary-film
but here only write the project and the money for contributions packages but if you want contribute/buy a pack you have enter in Donate zone,but now this zone has disappered in the web because pre-ordering is unavailable.
I think that my money instead to go to pre-ordering a package it was direct to donate, that also is good but I don't buy the documentary.

Yes, truly, have the same problem with Journey To Jah Kickstarters page

If you don`t want to register and contact Zack directly, if you have You Tube
you can try contacting him on his channel

Maybe someone here can PM his e-mail, if they have it.

Surely, some other ongoing option would be wise to leave,
seems that Kickstarter shuts down donation when time limit is done
as well as charges all the money, and that is it from it.

That's the way KickStarter works, when the time limit has been reached for the donations target to be achieved that part of it ends. It's simply so that if the target sum was not achieved no-one's money get's wasted...

After a successful target has been achieved then it's really in the hands of the filmmaker/s to handle any more incoming transactions...

In the case of VivaAmiga pre-ordering was done via KickStarter and so was only applicable during the set time period, since then unfortunately the only option available is a donation...

But now the problem is that you don't pre-ordering or pre-buy the documentary, that I though that I did, not donate to my name was wrote in the credits, I like more the Iron Sky movie, you donate but buying merchandesing and they show as spend the money here is the example link:

@Templario

Have you tried to contact Rock Steady/ Viva Amiga or Zach like advised to do, I'm pretty sure as you have your paypal receipt they would be more than happy to put you onto the backers list or pre-order list instead of the donate one if you email them and explain...

You won't get this sorted until you contact one of them and I'm certain they will be only too happy to help...

@Templario

You are right, now its a pure donation (same problem with Journey to Jah for me)
so one really must contact and negotiate what he gets back with the author.

Surely, there is still time to enter the credits and get the DVD

Don`t fly too high, here is just a matter of Kickstarter offer expired.

Documentary website clearly offers donate without any promises, but surely something can be negotiated with Zack.

Latest news from Zach Weddington on the VIVA AMIGA documentary...

Project Update #14: Editing has begun.
Posted by Zach Weddington

Hey, just wanted to let you all know that. It's a big deal.
Gonna post another big blog entry this weekend. A little more shooting here in Philly, the Europe shoot early next year...a target of rough cut by end of summer.
Stay tuned. I am working hard. Ya'll prolly knew that though.
Z

Ok... nothing too exciting there but hopefully Zach's blog this weekend will reveal more, it does seem however that it won't be till after next summer before we see the finished product...

Still, were used to waiting for things in Amigaland so I guess another 6 or 8 months is nothing in Amiga terms...

@Templario

Still no answer? Register at Kickstarter (surely you did)
http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/vivaamiga/viva-amiga-the-documentary-film/comments
click to the send message above the comnments page or try leaving a comment.

Since that automaticaly goes to Zack e-mail should raise some attention.

Maybe its not to late to enter credits and get the movie as back gesture for your donation, depending on how big it was.

Originally for $100 donation at once pack was:
DVD, Movie Soundtrack, Extras Disc, Limited Edition Signed "Pre-Order" Poster, Viva Amiga Button, a "Thank You" message in the credits, plus benefactor listing on amigafilm.com.

It would take them less than 5 mins to make a change to the credits at any time before they go master it..

C'mon give Zach a chance, he did say after all it will be the end of the summer before hopefully all footage is shot and editing & production can begin...

So as for me I won't worry about the money I invested in this project until then...

Been on many "Chiil outs" in my time that were only supposed to last a weekend and never came back home for 3 months, so it seems pretty normal to me...

You can rest assured if nothing materialises by this autumn, I'll be the first one to have something to say about it...

Oooh just as I am typing this an email has flashed up from Zach (spooky), I'll check it out end be back in a mo...

@all

Ok here's the email (ive just cut and pasted it so I'm reading it for this first time as well)...

Latest update from Zach & the VIVA Amiga Team...

Project Update #15: Euro Shoot Booked and Planned
Posted by Zach Weddington
Big stuff, guys. The European trip is scheduled. Marvin Droogsma has basically taken this intimidating part of the film's journey and OWNED it, booking the locations and making it incredibly easy for me to focus on the job of documenting gaming and the demoscene, along with some special interviews with people like Petro T. Tyschtschenko. We will be at Revision in Germany and here in Holland for party and interviews. Will be in Frankfurt and Essen in Germany.

http://www.amigascene.nl/modules/news/article.php?storyid=662

4th – Zach Arrives early in Amsterdam. Spending the day to get equipment and travel to Germany. Stopping by in Essen presumably.
5th – At Petro’s place for interview.
6th – Visit Revision (Germany) and do some shoots/interviews.
7th – Back to Holland for Dutch demo party (so please, not too early)
8th – Resting day and/or do some final interviews/shoots/edits
9th – We cry and sob for hours because Zach is going back home…

Still say that was spooky, wonder if he's got some sneaky spyware on me Mac and spotted me posting that last post...

Well it all sounds good to me, so roll on the autumn...
