@ChaosLord

that sounds like the best job ever! at least much funnier than my job as consultant/analyst/programmer (usually J2EE&SQL and rarely C) for telecomm/banks/government.

Self employed.

www.apartamentos.fi , hostal nevada etc.. too much work to describe.
Mainly renting apartments and work space. Helping the elders with Windows for free...
Renovating nearly everything at the 300m2 house.. Market shares. Nearly everything from electricity-waterworks-Corvette needs... Waiting for a reasonable priced OS4 machine to fill the broken XE gap..

Main work is my 1,9 month girl who messes up all Amiga hobbies as she likes them too much;)

Edit: New Amiga princessa? Picture to follow..

Edit: No picture to follow sorry but there is a problem on the finnshark server or something.. better not to copy pictures in unknown places just for sure. That secure is my precious girl. No net, just sand cakes and stuff;)

Hehehee, hey if u ever get tired of ur job u can come work for me as an Espanol Translator. I will even pay u double what I get paid.

The game was 100% translated to Espanol some years back (Sorry I only know how to type the swervy N on Amiga, not on windoze) But we added new stuff to the game so now 10% of the game is in English and 90% in Espanol and it looks strange.

@A500

I'm a computer/electrical engineer by degree. By day I've worked at a chip company doing silicon layout and verification for FPGA chips, analog automotive chips, and also done verilog IP integration to SoC microprocessors and C based test simulations (porting from other chips, creation from scratch, and auditing of what existing tests actually do and do not) for verification of those SoCs. By night I've begun a masters degree program in Computer/Electrical engineering and plan to focus on microprocessor design, VHDL/FPGA stuff, and then either Analog design or DSP to finish program requirements.

I got into all this due to tinkering with Commodore64 (the genuine one, not the new generic PC things of the same name) and Amigas as a kid.

I joined the Army as an infantry soldier at 17, which I did for a number of years until 2007.

I now work in the private security industry, not the most exiting job in the world, but pays the bills.

@A500

I was 14 years at Nokia networks (NSN) developing BaseStation SW (protocol SW (E-Cell, HSCSD, GPRS, Edge etc.) and control SW (3G, 4G)). I left NSN year ago from SW specialist position.
Now my business card says that I'm a Business Developer in organization that push forward innovations to generate new startup companies (in the search of the next Nokia ).

I started my computer hobby with CBM64 around 1985. Amiga took me to totally to the computer world around 1987, suddenly everything was possible...
At work it has been fun to see the effects of people's Amiga background. For example several inhouse RTOSs mimic AOS in many ways. Someone might also blame me for the AmigaDE+NokiaMediaTerminal "collision". But I only hinted them. And I regret, after I saw what happened.

Right now I develop web based enterprise system for document and content management etc into mostly local government using SQL C#.net, but now specialising in mobile with Android, and IOS.

However, back in the day, I partnered and ran Checkmate Digital, then Siamese Systems which transformed into HiQ systems. If you do not remember those names, I guess my advertising and marketing budget was wasted
