We're talking about a company that has hobby coders, they code in their spare time. The x1000 h/w has shown no problems, its the os4 porting to it thats slow. If it takes this long to port to a new ppc board, just imagine how long it would take to port to x86. Not going to happen & I don't see them giving out the os4 source code for anyone else to do it. I don't think there is anyone who wouldn't love os4 on an x86 system, but its just not possible as things stand.

Again, I was referring to is a year and a half ago. In the present time, I agree with you, I can't see it happening for a host of reasons. If you are saying like Number6 said, the manpower just wasn't there and couldn't been boosted with significant enough external funding, I'll conceed the point.
