| @Deniil715 The competitor of flash is silverlight which is a Microsoft system. If, then the xbox one solution would be silverlight.
Money rules. Why should m$ allow html5 enabled devices to be on par with a xbox? _________________ AROS Broadway - AEROS - Aminux - AmiCloud - indieGO! Appstore - AmiWallet - VAN lossless video codec - AMC Amiga media Center -KrypUnite - LibertyNet - MinX - amigaNX |

Flash and silverlight are (slowly) dying, so yeah they can compete each other but who cares. Both are dead end so long live to HTML5! |

I do not think that it has to do with "hate" in business world but economics. On all Apple devices Flash is not available and that is still a big market. On Android Flash can get installed but I do not know how many really have it. |

On that thread that someone linked, there were people clearly showing emotions in regards to flash _________________ - Don't get fooled by my avatar, I'm not like that (anymore, mostly... maybe only sometimes) > Amiga Classic and OS4 developer for OnyxSoft. |

ah ok
I have read the discussion. As I understand it it is a user discussion where people want to get HTML5 but no developer or manager involved. I personal have dropped Flash because more and more people use devices for web browsing that do not support Flash. And that is rational decision. Last edited by OlafS25 on 16-Jan-2015 at 01:04 PM.

They use an app to do it I suppose._________________ - Don't get fooled by my avatar, I'm not like that (anymore, mostly... maybe only sometimes) > Amiga Classic and OS4 developer for OnyxSoft. |

Flash is all over both Android and iOS. Just not in the web browsers. |

I do not understand why people always talk about that... most 68k is running on modern hardware |

Well, MAS player or Prisma is easy access soundboard for mp3 playback on 68k machines, and if/when Apollo accelerator arrives for other Amigas than just a600 I assume You wont even need the soundboards.
Mas player seems to limit you to 192 bit mp3's, not sure about Prisma.
Still assume Spotify for 68k is very unlikely. |

Discussions about pointless topics? I thought that is very essence of AmigaWorld.net. Last edited by pavlor on 12-Oct-2015 at 07:11 PM.

| It has been announced that Flash's days are numbered. What will Spotify replace it with?
