@all micro users

When os4.1 came out, we had to turn off 2 of the usb ports to just boot. If you still have that problem, try commenting out the kickstart/lsi53c8xx.device.kmod file in kicklayout. This is a scsi driver, most of us don't need it & no idea why it causes problems. I put in a bug report on it, but no fix yet. I've been running my micro with all 4 usb ports active now for months, no boot problems. I'm using a KVM switch between the micro & the x1000.

If all of a sudden looks good, then you'll know it's something simple. On the test fails, will lead us in another trouble, of course, shooting direction.

there should be some sort of speed-up guide & tricks for the different mainboard..

Understood, but the policy with the A1s was to slow them down, not speed them up. In fact Hyperion clearly stated nothing over 800mhz would get Hyperion support. (that didn't stop 3rd party people with utilities like seta1 and overclockers though)

This reminds me of someone who blew up two AmigaOne XEs by over clocking.

I'd agree with you, but then we'd both be wrong.
