Lets run some benchmarks. Hardware Toshiba lattitude pro A200. Celeron 1.6 GHz

First one out:

http://www.webkit.org/perf/sunspider-0.9.1/sunspider-0.9.1/driver.html

I get 527,3 ms with Odyssey.

Not bad.

It seems Javascript on x86 is on another speed level in comparison to PowerPC (there is no fast JIT for PowerPC).

It proves kind of lot as most pages use java-script.

We can do other tests after this.

The fact is that as you can see AROS runs as fast and faster than any other OS out there.
