Hmmm...looks like these same authors just published or made available about 40 different books, many without cover images, covering such topics as sheepdogs, Chevy Corvettes and Ruth's Crisp Steak House!
Looks like some sort of automated program inventing book titles and putting them up on Amazon.com. Is that possible?

@vox

Are you saying that they are charging 40.95 USD for providing a "book" that is nothing more than a wiki link?

Well as it's nothing more than a 40 buck copy of that veritable place of all madcap theories and personal opinions WIKI, then only nutcases and conspiracy theorists will buy it...

(Just ordered two copies meself, one for me and one for wee fat Albert the talking squirrel, tinfoil hats at the ready)...

@Franko

So, looking at scabit's post above...there is a technology being used to assemble "books" from public information (true or not)?

In addition, I'm interested in what this "content" really is. We've seen a lot of wiki altering, so if that's a principal source for a "book"...

It says it itself...

So from that it would appear to be nothing more than the pages you find on Wiki put into print and some muppets paying 40 bucks for them...

Think I'll start gathering all the posts I've ever made in the past two years on all the Amiga forums and see how much dosh I can make out of em...

Need to think of a title though...

@Franko

Is this common practice now?

Do "books" formed in this manner exist on all topics?

If not, why would "Amiga Inc." warrant being on someone's "to do" list?

Got an idea about that one... he must be either a sad git or someone who's figured out some people will buy anything if you stick the Amiga name on it...

@Franko

My questions were legitimate to me, since I don't keep up with all the latest trends. Glad to hear it's not just me failing to understand this one. Heh.

This has been going on for some time. There are thousands of such "books" available for sale.

Please click on the link below for more information:

Hope this was of help. :)
