Just came home after being away for a few days and my A1 gave me a black screen and didn't boot Hooked up a VGA monitor (only use DVI normally), still nothing. Checked the battery - 2.8V. Replaced it with a 3.05V and then it showed U-Boot Phew... Had to adjust all settings though since it had forgotten everything it seemed.

I really long for that X1000 now...

Hei Dany when i saw your nick related to an hardware problem ... phew for me aswell !
Aniway did you understand/solve exactly your memory issue ? it was really related to a SabreMSN's memory lack ?

And if so can you release a new version for all of us ?
I really like to have a new version of this program also because i have some old issues to report = means: if you have the Sabre's source and if you can make a few pubblic fix for it than all we be happy

@samo79

Well, the memory leak was all due to SabreMSN, but the lockup when running out of memory is still caused by OS4's faulty swapping. Could be a race-condition with the disk-driver or something... I have finally managed to raise the issue with the core developers.

If you want a feature in Sabre - now is the time to let me know!
I would have released a new version last week but there was a crash that I need to debug first, and then there was Easter.

Because of a mere battery?

Let me get it straight: now you've replaced the batt you're no longer longing for an X1000? Hm, nowadays my µ runs just fine, but I am thinking of an X1000 more and more, and, believe it or not, I changed battery only a few (phew?) months ago!

Well as feature request mostly i would like to see the compact mode again, it was disabled in one of the latest version and then it was not reimplemened

The code should be commented, disabled or similar ..

Still also to add the locale support so maybe we can start our usual translation

As bug report we have found almost 1: on the group chat still some issue when we are more than 2 person (say 3 or more guys chatting on the same session)

This one isn't so easy to fix i think, if you want we can try to check it but we need almost another person for our test !

I just meant that the machine is getting old and could fail permanently at any time. The battery was obviously easily fixable but the next time there could perhaps be something more serious. I still long for the X1000 of course

How to I enable this compact mode so I can test what it's supposed to be?

@Deniil715

You know what i need in Sabre :) To be able to disable the "status graphics next to peoples names". Something Jahc enabled in v0.74. I hate it :)

Good to hear we will get an update soon :)
