| Hi All
Firstly sorry for asking this question again.
Some time ago I asked if anybody had a version of Lightwave that would run happily in a system with retargetting display.
Somebody very kindly sent me a more recent version than mine but I have misplaced it and lost the PM after a clearout.
The reason is with my soon to be souped up Amiga 3000 (060 on way) I want to do a video comparing using this with my X1000 and my Aros system. Just the facts and no bias, except towards my beatiful A3000 that is.
Anyway Lightwave is one of the apps I want to show as afollow to last A3000 video.
Hope someone can help.
Thanks.

I understood there to be some kind of CyberGraphX plugin with the version 9 series of LightWave, I know I have to re-obtain all the programs I had lost (this was one of them) for past reasons...
so I hope you can locate the various things you need for this to work properly on your A3000 and other systems properly.
if you have access to the TOSEC archives... it *may* have the instructions and plugins in that collection... But I am unsure if the specifics are actually there or not... hope this helps Last edited by Belxjander on 15-Apr-2012 at 02:30 PM.

| I had to use mode promotion, or else the display doesnt all fit onscreen on my amithlon (ie. rtg only) system, but apart from that I wasnt aware that some versions didnt work with rtg? Perhaps I was just lucky in that the version I have works with rtg (besides the size issue).
Anyway, if none of the other responses pan out feel free to message me.

sorry to tell you lightwave 9 has never run on any amiga up till now. you will have to buy a pc for that. not that it could stop you to write a cybergraphx plugin for it, assuming people could pay you a licence or provide a free copy of sorts. (note, that i have an official copy here)Last edited by wawa on 15-Apr-2012 at 03:57 PM.
