My A1200 towered Blizzard PPC with gfx card fell off a chair when I moved house. the heatsinc is no longer attached to the CPU and only boots in low-res Workbench now. Anyone able to offer cheap servicing/repairs ?

damn! , i am not into hw sadly so i can't help there. but the heatsink on the ppc is possible to remove just by the clips so just re attach it and it should be ok , although some adhesive/cooling paste or whatever should be removed and reapplied.
as for Workbench booting into low res, was there a Bvision attached? If there is a mediator attached then you need to check the powersupply cables and the gfx card. --
need more info on the specs.
