@TheDaddy

An image has been presented to me of this unit featuring AMIGA branding.
This is a friendly request to remove that from your advertising.

@BigBentheAussie

Does that mean that if I take a photograph of my kitchen table with on it an Amiga mouse-mat and then using that very photograph to sell my table I will have you breathing down my neck as well?

@BigBentheAussie

Why don't you tell us what C-USA (who license the name, and don't own it) intend to do?

Obviously providing support to the Amiga community isn't one of your intentions.

@ The Daddy

The Amiga 500 looks rather like the Dragon 32, BBC Micro and Atari ST (along with several other designs, including generic PC all-in-ones made today). Use these names in your advertising for "inspiration". Also, despite threats from a certain company, you are free to point out the Amiga-like design and just point out that AMIGA is the property of Amiga.inc )not C-USA).

Also, make sure that you collect any threats as they will be handy to pass on to CNET, Slash-Dot, etc.

Oh, its now a friend(ly) request?

No interest in developed A500 style design from Italy? What a shame.

OK so they don`t ship with Amiga name (its X500 plus)
and stickers can be sold separately. So you don`t like Amiga stickers,
what about laser engravement?

It would be good just for a difference that that are letters of interest, support and congratulations - friend(ly) requests, unlike that one.

@TheDaddy

I hope you will get emails from them......

.... stating they like the design, the case and tell you what a great job you pulled in your garage creating this fine looking case. Hoping they tell you how proud they are that you've chosen them to show the possibilities of your case.

Always thought that people from Australia were laid-back, relaxed and friendly people. Ah well, all none Dutch people believe that all the Dutchmen are smoking cannabis.

@BigBentheAussie

I haven't forgotten the time that CommodoreUSA copied a load of text verbatim from the Mac Mini website, and replaced "Mac Mini" with "Commodore Phoenix".

When you posted the above, you must have known that it would have great comedy value for the rest of us

He was just bring to find the owner of the name!

Seriously, how can someone from a company that's one of the biggest picture pirates around possibly ask this with a straight face?

@TheDaddy

Please remove Amiga sticker off the video edit and pictures,
just because of Aussie - US "axis of evil"

Put them as optional from existing Amiga shops
with special "use them at your own risk, they might summon friendly requests"

Offer "While we have no immediate plans for an A500 replica, we will surely produce it
one day" and "Get ready for some serious traffic....hope your servers can handle it" instead.

And don't forget guys that a real "friendly" request would have been done via PM or email.

The public provercation speaks volumes.
