After the "tanks", i've always had (and still have for the classics) the AT's mice, either black or white, preferably the black one.

This Amiga Technologies mouse was second best Amiga mouse to the pregnant mouse, in my opinion.

I've been using the A-EON Boing mouse with a USB adapter I purchased on eBay a couple weeks ago, and is definitely by far best Amiga mouse solution I have used on classic.

@fingus

I'm with you.

Wasn't it designed by "Frogdesign"?

I have a black one here and had plans to put wireless guts into it, but never came arround that project.
Would have to find a fitting mouse and then, if that breaks one day it would be hard to find another one that fits, I guess ...

CU,
Mario

I've used very mouse possible except for the new usb adapters on the amiga. I just bought a buss mouse adapter for the Amiga off ebay for 37 bucks. Hopefully it will last longer then my Amiga mice have.

My favorite Amiga mouse was the pregnant mouse that came with my 3000T.
My favorite aftermarket was Golden image G600 that you could use on the Amiga or Atari. They also made some nice trackballs.

I had both tha 'tank' and the 'pregnant' mouse in the past. I liked the second one, but now I'm using an optical mouse with the Cocolino adapter on all my Amigas. Optical gives you a different feeling... and you don't have to clean the mouse and ball every week...

The best Amiga mouse I had was a glossy beige one by Quickjoy (IIRC). The mousebuttons had same/similar microswitches as their joysticks. Working sounded like heavy game action.
The glossysurface was nice to touch and the microswitches were easy pressable withe a precise working point. Someday then one button failed.
Not sure whether this nice mouse is somewhere at the attic or went to the bin.

Today I only use rather simple logitech mice.

I didn't include my AmigaKit Boing Ball mouse in this photo (I forgot), but how many of you have this many different Amiga mouses (mice)? How many of you can recognize and name all of these 9pin Amiga mouses (mice)?

http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/546/mice2.jpg/

I prefer the two in the center of the picture. The Wizard Mouse has a very high DPI, so it is very accurate. The "Pregnant" mouse next to it is really popular for some reason and people are always trying to pry it out of my hands and buy it from me.

The Golden Image 3 button Optical mouse is the only 9pin Optical mouse I own, or have ever seen. It works really well, but has too short a cable on it for my liking, so it is best suited to an Amiga wedge computer instead of a big box Amiga model, if you are going to put your big box under the desk, instead of on the desktop under your 1084 monitor.

I forgot another Amiga mouse that I should have put in the picture, actually two more that I forgot. One is a "Pen" mouse, that you hold in your hand like a writing pen, and the other one is a wireless mouse with a separate IR receiver that you plug into your Amiga and use with batteries and wave it around in the air while holding down one of it's buttons to move the mouse pointer. It is intended for presentations and such. It probably would have been great for SCALA presentations in the "Good Old Days".

That makes 11 different mouses (mice) that are 9pin Amiga/Atari style mouses (mice), 12 if you count the tank mouse with the bent tail for the A1000 computers, plus I have two of the same AmigaKit USB Boing Ball mouses (mice).

I never expected to see a thread here about Amiga mouses (mice).
