Expert Reviews: Top Ten Amiga Games...

To be honest I've never heard of "Expert Reviews" before and just happened to stumble across it while googling for info about tortoises and how to stuff em....

Anywhoo, according to "Expert Reviews" and this article published last week, this is "the top ten games that we all miss"...

http://www.expertreviews.co.uk/general/1292362/top-10-amiga-games

Not sure why they "miss them" as you can still play them but I've got to say their top ten hardly covers some of the best games ever made for the Amiga and I wonder just what they are actually "experts" in as less than half the games they mention I don't miss at all...

So here's my "no so expert" top 10 of Amiga games...

10: Lotus Esprit Trilogy
09: Cannon Fodder 2
08: ECO
07: Clockwiser
06: Dungeon Master
05: Cadaver
04: Bubble Bobble
03: Time Bandit
02: Deluxe Galaga AGA
01: The Faery Tale Adventure

I did want to include Tower Of Souls in the list but even after all these years I've never managed to finish the ruddy thing...

So what would be your all time top 10 of Amiga games...

@Franko

If I'm going to name few games that’s worth playing to day I say:

Beneath a Steel Sky
Monkey Island
Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade.
UFO Enemy Unknown.
North And South
Wipeout 2097
Quake III / II
Pinball Dreams
Lemmings
Mega Lo Maina.
Another world

I'd add:

Zeewolf / Zeewolf 2
Superfrog
Slam Tilt
UFO: Enemy Unknown
K240

The problem is any "top 10" is so subjective that nobody is ever going to agree.

@franko
I've never played the Amiga version of Bubble Bobble, but still kick it up on the Spectrum every now and then.

What... you've missed the best version, especially for the music alone...

Bubble Bobble Amiga Theme Tune...

@Franko

The Spectrum 128K music is catchy enough thankyou-very-much.

You can indeed say that (and you did)...

But it's not so much cheating as more just a case of being wrong...

It's supposed to be about your top 10 favourite Amiga games not about a game engine...

C'mon, surely you can come up with a list of your favourite 10 Amiga games...
