As requested by zerohero (AmigaWorld moderator) new subject
(was initialy in AmigaWorld 'Amigaos4 developer interview with Computerworld' Subject)

See the 3th comment from Computerworld amiga news

Quote:
AmigaOS could be so much more if the people in charge were of decent morale standing. As it is they borrow money under false pretenses, with absolutely no intention of paying it back. Any business run under these circumstances will struggle to survive, let alone flourish. The future of AmigaOS is reliant on how many suckers can be caught for what they can offer. (All in my personal experience, of course) Simon

What's the matter with Rigo ?

Is he still an AmigaOS Core Developper ?

@ShadowSun

May I just remind everyone thinking of participating in this thread to act civil, please. You will discuss some sensitive topics in this thread, and not everyone will agree with each other. There are also some unpleasant truths in this...

@ShadowSun

Don't know what happened to him, but he's alluding to someone "in charge" borrowing money from him ("personal experience").

Sounds like he would be better off telling his story than us speculating.

@ShadowSun

personal spats & politics happen in every single small to large scale business & hobby group.

IMHO, better to keep the trash covered and at the side of the house

I find this quote from Simon...

Quote:
AmigaOS could be so much more if the people in charge were of decent morale standing

... rather amusing, as in my experience, and of course in own personal opinion, he is one of the least morale people involved in AmigaOS anyway! I'm glad something has come around and bit him on the arse!

I can see where he's coming from though, because if anyone has ever tried to get in touch with anyone at the "top" of anything AmigaOS, even to lend a hand, offer support or whatever, you're greeted by pure ignorance and discontent...

Ah, drama. If only Amiga community could bottle up drama and sell it to teenage girls, we would have more money than Apple! Unless Rigo is going to step up and tell us what's going on we'll have to speculate. It's fun but pointless.

Strip the Amiga community of speculation and we can fit every forum on a 720k floppy. Or an ADF image, why not.

I think comment number 10 on the article sums up the situation quite well

And that is the same guy that in a interview had so much hatred for community that he wanted to see us burn.
One of his very nice quotes: Quote:
97% of the people in this coomunity can go and catch fire as far as I'm concerned

For those who doubt this: link
