@Ezrec

In fact not all of those are AROS derived. Some of archives (Ambient, APDF, VPDF, AHI stuff) are just sources of programs on GPL licence.

@wawa

Finally, the waiting has been definitely long enough. It's great news. Finally my Powerbook will get a cool OS. And my other three ppc machines will be happy about the update, too.

@Ezrec

see colorwheel source released, perhaps it helps to improve colorwheel on aros, which is crashing on chunky modes under 68k.

I`d love to know how fast games are with that software library we have to use for now, if I`m not mistaken, for 3D. I only care about quake really. Can anyone show me that?

edit: Wazp3D is what I mean

Congratulations to all involved. It sounds like a lot of hard work to get this released.

Updating on the mini went like a charm: Droped in the cd, booted, selected to update, went to kitchen to make a sandwich returned to the computer, ejected the cd, rebooted and enjoyed the new installation of 3.0 and a sandwich with quite a lot of chilli sauce.

@wawa

Thanks to the MorphOS team for this latest release.

I have downloaded and installed MorphOS 3.0 as an upgrade to 2.7 on my eMac today and I am typing this from the updated OWB browser in MorphOS 3.0!

Will let you know how things go, but so far the upgrade went well.

Catcha,
Epsilon
