Thanks for that. Will pre-order that in a moment. I read the first edition (On the edge), and bought the 8-bit era second edition, but haven't got around to going through that yet. I was planning to wait until I had both parts before starting on it. |

Ordered mine from Amazon in the UK and it arrived quickly, it's a hardback edition and interesting but slightly expensive but worth it. |

I have just pre ordered. Already purchased the future was here and on the edge part 1 and like everyone I guess I am looking forward to the Viva Amiga film. A great year for nostalgia!

I recently read The Future Was Here: The Commodore Amiga and would definitely recommend it.

Hi all!
I also just finished reading "The Future Was Here" and it is great: lots of interesting facts, technical details, "insider" stories, and a very nice, balanced view on the Amiga strengths and weaknesses...
... definitely a must-read!
Happy reading! Tygre |

I'm reading "The future was here" right in these days. It's a good one and a fairly technical reading from many point of view.
I backed "Viva Amiga" and I can't wait to get my hands on it as well. _________________ Now running AmigaOS4.1.6 on Sam440-flex @800MHz. also running: Linux Debian 5 and Linux Kubuntu 12.04. AmigaForever2012 user. "iBatch" and "Boing Attitude" translation team. Amiga Translator's Organization. |
