AmigaForever 2006/OS 3.9: Guru meditation when clicking on "Volumes"

I'm just seting up an AmigaForever 2006 OS 3.9 (BBs I & II) system.

All seems to be fine and dandy, but when I have started an app and - lets say - want to oopen a file from a different drive and click on the requestor's "Show Volumes" or "Volumes" button, the system crashes - no matter in which app I just am.

Seems to be fault of the OS?
But where to look?

Someone got an idea?

EDIT I:
The error messages say:

Program runtime error
Division by zero

EDIT II:
If the current drive is e.g. System: and I want to go to e.g. Work: - if I click "Show Volumes" I get the error message and/or the system crashes, if I enter "Work:" manually and press "Enter" it works.

Really strange...

EDIT III:
Now I'm completely confused.
I have been installing software on Work: when the system crashed again.
I made a reset and expected the system to reboot.

But instead of rebooting it now keeps telling me that there is no disk present in device DH0: .

I looked - but the "System:"-directory is where it should be.
It has the bootpri 0 and is the first device in the list and so should boot - but it doesn't. Changing the bootpri to 1 didn't make it boot, either...

Also the "S"-directory with startup-sequence and user-startup is there.

Gawd - what can this be now?
I didn't touch the "System:" - suddenly it refuses to boot?
How strange is that now?
