SAM440ep 667Mhz with the factory 512MB RAM, motherboard gfx chip and OS4.1beta (uptodate) - MUI-Mplayer and overlay.
720x480 encoded Mjpeg played back in real time with no audio loss. Audio ended with video playback.
848x480 encoded Mjpeg played back at 88% of realtime. Audio ended before video ended.
First report on current DVPlayer - same clip:
848x480 encoded Mjpeg played back in real time with no audio loss. Audio ended with video playback.

I'll pass along your request for that test.
Question for you though. My test on the Micro I clearly state what I'm using.
MUI-Mplayer allows the same choice of overlay vs sdl or not?
I don't want to construct an unfair test.

In response to requested test:
SAM440ep 667Mhz with the factory 512MB RAM, motherboard gfx chip and OS4.1beta (uptodate) - MUI-Mplayer and NO overlay.
720x480 encoded Mjpeg played back at 61% of realtime.
In all tests prior, regardless of h/w, let me be clear. Whether the sample played in real time or failed in a particular video resolution, audio ALWAYS finished in realtime and without distortion.
This test had a different result in its failure. It was reported to be looping the last second or so for the entire time after the length of the audio portion. It only ended at the end of the video clip. If that's not clear, please ask.
Added info not requested SAME SYSTEM:
With failures playing back the higher resolution files even WITH overlay in MUI-MPlayer, the same audio symptoms were reported. The consistent thing then being an overstressed system running at 100% CPU, not being able to play the video in realtime and thus somehow affecting the audio with MUI-MPlayer.

Ran the Micro tests with a much longer sample just because the concern had been raised that sync might fail with a longer sample.
It passed with flying colors.
