Does anyone (perhaps yoodoo2, sees this? ) know what status MindSpace is in?
I want to buy the registered version, but I don't know if it is still maintained. I tried the demo which I really liked.

I've tried mailing the mindspace address on the page, and I sent a PM to yoodoo2 here on aw.net, but got no answer. It'd be a real shame if this program wasn't available anymore.

@jaokim

MindSpace is indeed a very nice program and I registered the full version roughly two years ago. Sadly enough I haven't heard anything since then - except the downloadable demo of a forthcoming version 2. I don't know whether Richard is still active or not, but I do know that it lasts sometimes a few days until you'll get a reply.

@cha05e90

Well, I sent the mail back in... March I believe.
I don't so much need MindSpace to be maintained. I merely want to register and get the latest full version.

Is no one else interested in MindSpace?

@jaokim

I am!
(I have a feeling that it's better than Amifig currently, and there are not too many PPC native vector drawing tools)

OH!!! Someone is listening/reading e-mails:
"The full version 1.2b of MindSpace was made available as a free release on 8 Aug 2012."
http://www.ast-workshops.co.uk/MindSpace/

I hope it will be continued anyway... one day .. at least.
It seems v2 has been in the works some time ago.

Nooo! Or yeees! I don't know how to feel.
On one hand, free stuff is great. On the other hand, being able to pay for Amiga stuff that is being developed is so much better!

Anyhow, thank you!

We need more users and must remember to give developers a lot of credit. They make our hobby possible.

@OlafS25

Any/all updates go to v2 of the SW. But also that info is old.
(v2 might be available in testable form, but I failed to dl it, though)

@all

Thanks for your interest in MindSpace. I meant to make 1.2 available to everyone some time ago, but never got round to updating the website. It's pretty much feature complete for its original purpose, but I'd be interested in any serious bugs that anyone finds.

I haven't really worked on V2 for some time: Sodipodi (under AmiCygnix) and the updated AmiFig seem to have vector drawing apps covered and I don't have as much time as I used to due to extensive travelling for work :(

A portable Amiga would really help...

@yoodoo2

Thanks for your work and for making MindSpace v1 free.

I still enjoy using MindSpace for quick drawing and schema work. Where Sodipodi is to "bloated" (inkl. firing up AmiCygnix) and AmiFIG is - ahem - to "special" in means of usablity MindSpace fits perfectly in. Hopefully you'll find some time in the future to work further with a v2 release. And, yes, we're all waitin' for a portable AmigaOS4.x solution..

Minspace seems nice&fast&easy to use.

I will try to redo some things I did half a year ago with Amifig to see how it compares...

And I have also the HW Designer to try out for vector drawing kind of thing..

@yoodoo2

Minor update just to tidy up the interface a little.

Full package currently in the OS4Depot uploads queue.

@yoodoo2

Thanks for all you work on this. It's great to finally have a version that works well on the X1000.
