Hi all,

I have updated my Amiga blog with a post looking at some NG Amiga games now that I have 3D support happening on AmigaOS4.1 and Icaros 2.0.3, as well as connecting a CDTV via HDMI and reconfiguring my computer area after pulling it apart for the Adelaide Amiga meeting last week!

http://amigax1000.blogspot.com.au/2015/09/computer-room-reconfiguration-and-ng.html

I hope you enjoy!

As always a great little read, and the amount of photo of every step really adds to the blog, keep up the good work.

Hi All,

I have written a new blog post looking at Hollywood 6 for AmigaOS 4.1 on the X1000. It also includes a quick look at Hollywood plugin for Cubic IDE and FastView as well.

Link is here:

@zzd10h

Thanks for your feedback!

I haven't updated my X1000 for the newer releases since April 2015 so it is no doubt a few updates behind by now - thanks for the heads up! I am still busy updating the X1000 for all the new stuff released since then!

I will get the upgraded FastView version installed on my X1000 asap - the new image preview on the right pane looks terrific and potentially very handy for me!

As a future request I would love an updater program for zTools that would search and upgrade all the installed suite applications at once rather than installing each one as an upgrade (from a central console) manually. Perhaps this has already been addressed in a newer version? Not sure. There are so many programs in the zTools suite it does take a while to upgrade them all individually! Anyway, I guess it is a minor quibble.

Thanks for writing a very useful program! I'll have to do a more full coverage at the zTool Suite on my blog when I have some more time! There are a lot of tools in it so I expect it will take a while!

For now I wanted to show people how FastView could be used quickly to help out with Hollywood 6 projects on the X1000

"For now I wanted to show people how FastView could be used quickly "

Thank you !

"As a future request I would love an updater program for zTools that would search and upgrade all the installed suite applications at once"

Sorry, for now, the zTools_Installer only use a different color to display updated programs (white color frame) and not updated ones (darker frame).

"I'll have to do a more full coverage at the zTool Suite on my blog "
Don't hesitate to ask me if you need details or question about specific uses ;)

Hi All,

It's been a while since I updated links here, but I have not been idle, and have been creating a number of blog entries since then:

Simple Mail, X1000 sold out, Amiga30 stuff, Cannonball, and a post dedicated to the recent passing of my friend Mark (AKA Axon) who was the coder for the Amiga demo group I formed in the late 1990's called The Experience.

Links are here:

I hope you enjoy them.

@Epsilon

interesting read thanx

You can also hear webradio by defining individual playlists. It worked for 68k AmigaAMP so I assume it also works on the new versions.

@OlafS25

Yes, it's as easy as creating a file in below structure and call it name.pls.
Load it with AmigaAmp and off you go...works flawlessly with more than one radio address and can be switched on-the-fly in the playlist window.

Quote:
[playlist]

NumberOfEntries=2

File1=http://mp3channels.webradio.antenne.de:80
Title1=Antenne Bayern (MP3)
Length=-1

File2=http://mp3channels.webradio.antenne.de:80/rockantenne
Title2=Rockantenne Bayern (MP3)
Length=-1

Version=2

Thank you for the aTunes review

aTunes have too an AmigaAmp "plugin" to display the cover name and Ringhio Notification of the currently played song.

@zzd10h

AmigaAmp does that by default.

Ringhio notification on song change
Cover and additional information by opening the Info window (the litle "i" in AmigaAmp's main window)
