Their stock is at a whole $0.10. Is that the highest it has ever been?

It's laughable really. If I was a investor I would not want to go anywhere near them. You have only have to look through the (can you call it a forum?) forum to see the bull.

It's been higher since the R/S (reverse split to reduce dilution).
You can get a chart searching nasdaq.

Notification That Annual Report Will Be Submitted Late

For the common man buying stock on spec, how important would a notice of being late in reporting mean anything when the company has no products in the first place?

yet another Amiga gaming attempt
Google "Download classic Amiga games and play it on Windows without emulator."
Anyone who can read the language feel free to state whether google's little summary is on target or not.

Annual report filed

For people following just the Amiga side I suppose there are a few interesting points:

Quote:
During the fiscal year, Amiga Games Inc. and Retro Infinity Inc. entered several marketing and distribution agreements, including those with Microsoft Corporation and Roku Inc. Both agreements include minimum guarantees, defined as advances against future sales.

Unless I read this wrong WRIT took far more (by multiples) advance money than their reported total "revenue".

Quote:
the Company has suffered losses from operations, which raises substantial doubt about its ability to continue as a going concern.

^from their auditor

Section 10 seems to bear this out with their talk of issues at Amiga Games Inc. and the other shell company RetroInfinity.

Given what was reported to date in this thread, none of this is a surprise.

I just read their report. Wow, I can't believe that they posted in the comments that it was out. I'd have though that "Gregg" would have hid under a rock after that. Mind you, he didn't have anything smart to say for a change. You can't do damage limitation on a nuclear blast site.

It is interesting how it has suddenly gone quiet on the forum. Oh wait not interesting, predictable is what I was looking for. :)

LOL. You're right. I don't think SHITEGOLD or GLUGG can spin the bad news in the report. I notice the share price went up, but that seems to be due to someone buying 129 shares at an inflated price (and why not when you can get them for $10.32). It shows how easy it is to manipulate prices when it comes to penny stocks.

There's a couple of guys there racking them over the coals over what is contained in the report and the only response was for WRIT's PR guy to point at other companies and say "What about them?".

I think this company should be used as a teaching aid to warn people about playing the stock market and why so many new companies collapse and die. It really does remind me of C-USA who had lots of ideas, the wrong people involved, no actual "workers", no real sense of direction and more interested in spreading smoke screens and lies than actually learning from their mistakes.

Looking through that report and reading about the "loans", do you think that these loans might have been people linked to the company lending the cash effectively to themselves in order to receive a high APR or 8-12% (my bank set my business up a $100,000 line of credit at 4% - I don't use it as I don't need it, but it is there)?

Alternatively, did they default on these loans, because I see a mention of debts converted into shares (or at least that is how it looks)?

Not remotely within my field of knowledge, sorry. That's why I mostly post links and quotes.

But anyone that knows this topic is perfectly free to respond.

No news.

Whereas the investor's site has had a rare day here and there without comments (mostly weekend), there has as, of this minute, been no activity since July.

Both attackers and defenders have gone silent.

I wonder if everyone has just given up.

There's seems to be a bit of action now. LIKE GOLD seems to be attempting to pump up the price again with rumours of Front Row Networks (FRN) being sold off.

Someone else pointed out that FRN was bought for WRIT stock which makes the value of it next to worthless anyway.

I Googled it and found some links that seems to suggest that it is/was a one-man company with 3 others possibly involved. It seems the CEO (And possibly the only person left) claims to have helped other companies secure distribution rights to such massive hits a Universal Soldier and Total Recall in the past. I can't find any reference to this new company having achieved anything! It reminds me of the C-USA website making reference to what the original Commodore did and attempting to make it look like they did it.

Anyway, it looks like the "pumpers" are getting called out on their latest smoke & mirrors game and that the two "pumpers" might be the same person with two accounts.

What puzzles me is how LIKE GOLD thinks that selling off the company acquired to distribute your (currently non-existent) products is a good move unless you know you're never going to have any products to distribute. Perhaps they have found some sucker to give them cash for it, but I'm sure WRIT will quickly eat up any money received in wages for their CEO.

Popcorn time?

You realize these nicks are all over the site, right?

Just google investor's hub and add your favorite spammer's nick and enjoy the results. heh.
Try BULL CHARGE for some really boring repetitive postings.
Something is always "imminent" for him. heh.

Ah, so that's how it works. Very interesting. I'd only looked at the WRIT page.

I only noticed it yesterday myself. Suddenly the idea of nicks with all caps connected with screaming to me. Some of them seem to be promoting stocks in general with little or no content about the stock itself.
Startling little comparison in the real world with our world in microcosm here?

It's apparent someone who is reading AW is also posting on the Investor's Hub, since the odds of discovering this on their own would make one question why he didn't find it in 2012.

I assumed that slick bubba was you.

Deadboy certainly pulled up some old stuff there. Did they ever pay their rent?

Who? Amiga Inc. or WRIT?

I thought I posted about the WRIT "office" before, shared by other companies?

*shrug*

LOL, don't blame you. Deadboy has quoted from Amigaworld again.

Quote:
Who? Amiga Inc. or WRIT?

Both. After reading that quarterly report I wouldn't trust WRIT to pay their electricity bill, let alone their (share of the) rent.
