Hello All,

I finalised my small editor, you can download the archive at :

http://artblink.hollywood.free.fr/Outils/MHE.lha

Option of this editor:

You can drag and drop file directly on the editor to open it
You can execute calculator + Paint software + Music software directly with this editor and you can configure what you want as software (good for game makers)
You can compile you script in all format supported by your hollywood version
You can configure the editor to open or not the ressource monitor in execution mode or other option
You can search, go directly in the good line, the editor go to the line where they are an error
If you have MUIRoyale, an listview has add in the bottom
The quick help just other the script can help you
You can see the path of your script
You can see all command of hollywood
If you choose a command in listview at the right and you press F10, the hollywood guide open directly at the command, for MUIRoyale too
You can refresh to see all of your function at the right of the editor

And more...

Be careful, this version is always in test

Normally, i have correct a lot of bug, but it can crash.

I wait your comment

I think it's a very simple editor to help hollywood coders

Thanks for return

@Artblink

An editor with :
-tabs
-drag 'n drop support
-nice looking

Very good work !

Maybe could be less Hollywood oriented and most developped as a NotePad replacment ?

@artblink

Looks very good, however i have some considerations for your next release

1 - For the entire program you should set the English language by default, not French
2 - The menu is not yet transable, and also the title of the prefs window, they should
3 - The "About MUI" option doesn't work, if you click on it nothing happen
4 - On the editor you should add the usual options for copy/cut/paste operations for the text
5 - On the about window you should add also the numeric version of your release (in this case 1.9 Beta 2)
6 - On the prefs window, when you click to "Save" the prefs window should be closed, right now it still open

And here the update for my italian translation:

Thanks all

For information, this editor is usefull for Hollywood 5.2 because i have this version. In the list of hollywood command, they are all hollywood 5.2 command, so, if you have hollywood 4.0 for exemple, some hollywood command don't work.

If you want to use this editor without error in your script, i think it is very important to buy Hollywood 5.2

But at this time, andreas don't sell is hollywood... Sorry but i haven't got the history of hollywood command to make editor that is compatible with older hollywood version

@ArtBlink

Looks nice and first tests indicate it works correctly with MorphOS 3.3. Could be a nice alternative to Cubic + Hollywood plugin. Good work, appreciated!
I wonder why ppl ask about tabs, because here it actually uses tabs. Is that depending on the HostOS maybe?

I think the language cataloge for the hollywood commands should use english keywords only. At least in German it looks a bit strange if you select e.g. "Veranstaltungen" for event commands. The hollywood documentation uses english terms only as well. I may offer my help for finetuning the German catalogue particularly.

"I wonder why ppl ask about tabs"

I didn't asked for tabs, it have it even under OS4.

I just spotted the good features of this editor, that's all.
