Hello, my fellows Amigans.

A new TSMC videoclip has been uploaded on You Tube.

Clips shows the current state of the working dialogs routine, together with a couple of new game locations and musics.

Have fun.

Cheers

@g0blin

Very solid graphics!

I like the trend of increasingly polished games coming out for the Amiga.

@g0blin

Nice graphics Looks good.

---

Every time when I look on to a good 2D point'n'click adventure I get the impression: "Good graphics are more important than CPU speed"

Oh and maybe when you reach a point of 'I lost interests' try to publish at least the first part, maybe you can add an update later.

@Overflow

I have been lucky I found a very talented artist, and I guess it shows.
My committment will be making sure that I don't spoil it while assembling all the graphic assets.

@Arko
Game coding is steadily progressing, so we will finally see TSMC coming out, this time.

best regards

@g0blin

The only visual flaw that I 've seen in your presentation are the fonts. IMHO, better create a set of custom fonts. Aside the above, it looks really polished.

@Cool_amigaN

I do agree and it will get done. In this moment I'm concentrating on having a working code, but text rendering is "priority 1" expecially considering that TSMC is a point and click adventure with a lot of text (game script is about 80 pages).

Thanks for you reply.

@kyle

Of course mate! Game will feature italian and english text, with option to expand to other languages in the future.

@all,

to celebrate Easter time, HERE is my latest clip on TSMC.

The video, shot a few weeks ago, shows the initial comparison between the AmigaOS4 and the Android version. The running code is absolutely the same without any "hack" to make it work.

Android shows a slow down during menu transition (water ripple effect) that will be taken care of in due time.

Have a nice day.

Gianluca

After the "AmigaOS to Android" post of this morning, the following picture shows the latest code running inside a Win XP enviroment emulated by Win8 via VMWare software.

Looking very good- clearly a lot of work involved in this project so far.

This could be a good software title for the new AMIStore AmigaOS app store.

@amigakit

Thanks for the flowers! :)

As far as distribution goes, I guess we'll get into it later on. I'm just the coder and we didn't get into details yet with Stefano, which is the IP owner.

We are very happy to see such a good response from the Amiga community and we will try to make it work for everyone. :)

My dear friends,

after a couple of months of hard work, I'm pleased to announce that the code has finally reached the "alpha" state.

At the moment almost every dialog parsing routine has been implemented, and work is now focusing on inventory management.

Selected alpha testers will receive the first playable demo in a matter of days. Detailed instructions will be sent to them on the current status, known issues and what to report.

I hope you like the new apperance, which should make the texts readable even on small Android devices.

Have a nice evening.

Gianluca
