You don't need one, WinUAE can be used for this.

Once in a phone discussion I told to creator that nowadays for an adventure game is really important featuring real voice dubbing...
It is a must, not simply a bonus extra feature.

As long professional dubbers to hire really cost very high for a cheap indie project, then I also suggested him to buy vocaloid speech sequencer software and use it for dubbing the entire adventure.

I hope the team could give a try to Hatsune Miku last version (jap+english voice) and other english vocaloid voices that could be used to give "talk" to entire set of Middle City characters by changing with ease their default voice stress parameters.

Secret of Middle City featuring real voice dialogues sure will have a boost of sales!

Ciao!

@thread

Thanks for all the ongoing support and the quick response to my entries.

Your suggestions are always very valuable to us and we'll try to follow your suggestions as much as we can.

@phoenixkonsole, amikit
thanks! we'll take that in account.

@Raffaele
I played the Hatsune Miku demo on PS3. I'll need to look more in depth into vocaloid, then!

@Minouos
You are right. I'll try to experiment on AmigaForever enviroment asap.

Best regards
g0blin

@Raffaele

Interesting tip, but was there somewhere something similar to Hatsune Miku, or is it inside the Hatsune Miku the possiblity to create talk? For all the demos i could find were singing.

@Bugala

I think that it should have also plain text 2 speech feature before adding a music track.
At least I saw some 3D anime cartoons made with MikuMikuDance 3D software and the characters talk without music, even if I think it is still too mechanical sometimes.

@elwood

Nobody is perfect!

@Toaks

I'm almost there, m8.

I had a new hardware crash to cope with and some serious bug fixing to do.

But it's coming ...

My dear amigans,

I'm happy to announce that we finally managed to implement the entire story script inside the code. The game, from this point of view, is now complete!

In the following weeks we'll work on adding the final features, fix bugs and repolish the code for final release, which should happen by the end of this year.

We wish to thank each and everyone of you for your continuous support, and for this reason a selected delegation of Middle City citizens is here to greet you.

Best regards

Hello, my fellow Amigans,

I'm glad to announce that TSMC has reached a major milestone today:

THE GAME IS FINALLY FULLY PLAYABLE FROM START TO FINISH!!!

Many things still need to be addressed, yet we are many steps closer to the end.

A few minor things are being developed as we speak, and we hope to finally come out with the playable, official demo, within a month or so.

Many thanks to testers, translators and supporters.

We owe you much.

Have a good night.

g0blin
