DVD/RW MicroA1 (2.5)

| I'm trying to run DVD/RW on my uA1c internal 2.5 44 pin port but no luck :(
Buy form ebay 44->40 pin controler put it in Micro and connect DVDRW but nothing I can see it on OS4 .. I try all option with jumper (slave,master) and no luck... when connect it on first chanell with hdd is working...
Has anyone try this ? _________________

Does the drive show up in U-Boot? If not, is the 44pin IDE channel deactivated in the U-Boot menu? If yes, is it deactivated for OS4 by one of the a1ide_* U-Boot variables for the a1ide.device?_________________

You should be able to check the uBoot settings easily with Prefs/UBoot.
I don't know if it affects removable media drives but try running Media Toolbox as the HD may be marked as last drive so anything atfer that will be ignored. |

Once upon a time, long long ago, I wrote an article about some of the "oddities" of the Micro-AOne.
Things like the strange USB pinout, the serial port pinouts that are even wrong in the original MAI schematics, and even how to connect a big drive to the small drive connector.

Try some solution..but no luck.. And both controler is enabled in UBoot...

Thanx for link man... finally is working ... HDD cable is broken and this is reason why is not working..
1 IDE (40 pin ) have two HDD
2 IDE (44 pin) have only DVD/RW
and this is what I need :) _________________
