Just a heads up that twittAmiga 4.0 has been released which also supports AmigaOS 4 now and AmigaOS 3 support has been improved as well.

I really like this client! I can think of a few feature requests but for what it does right now it works perfectly fine and it does have at least the basic features :)

(note: I'm not the dev, just sharing this awesome client - the dev is @twittamiga on Twitter, he's very nice and fast with responding!)

@Vistaus

Please don't tell me that. My Amiga already called me twit when I tried to run OctaMED twice. I don't need reminding.

But, why does this program have a stupid name?

@ikir

There's also Hotot, which is much better but due to the dependency on Qt/QtWebKit it's also a lot slower.

twittAmiga, which I've been following for ages, has a pretty horrid interface, and is missing basic stuff like replying. I'm sure it'll get there eventually.

@Chris_Y

Hotot doesn't even wanna start on my AmigaOne 500 due to the slowness. Plus it's not in active development anymore. Tweetdeck works fine in Odyssey, but it slows down the browser.

This client, on the other hand, is in active development and it's getting there. IMHO the interface is not so horrid. I've seen way worse Twitter clients like gTwitter on Linux for example or the various Adobe Air Twitter clients.

IMHO twittAmiga could use a bit of work in the interface department and yes, replying is a function they must add but it's a good working Twitter client so far and I don't regret using it at all :) I've used a ton of Twitter clients the past few years on various OS's and this one's on the right track IMHO.

That's interesting, as it works fine on my SAM440.

I might have been a bit hard on it I like it, but currently the Twitter mobile website is a better option.
