| Yes 29 years ago today (23rd July 1985) commodore showed off the first Amiga, the A1000 and although 29 years is not really as special as 25 or next years 30th anniversary it is still a mile stone that Amiga reach and this current community can celebrate, here to another 29! _________________ AmigaNG, YouTube, LeaveReality Studio |

My Commodore 16 should be 30 these days. Unluckily, however, I've not found the precise release date, apart from a generic "yar 1984" I already knew. It's a pure curiosity, but after all it's the computer that introduced me into computing stuff.

yes Skype is an idea. Maybe some of us could visit Lincoln Center in NewYork. It would be like using a time machine Are there some small rooms anyone can rent for an event? Last edited by elwood on 26-Jul-2014 at 07:29 PM. Last edited by elwood on 26-Jul-2014 at 12:17 PM.

How interesting it is that we grew up in different parts of the world and yet our lives share parallels. |

Month should be june, on "On the edge" it says that it debuted in june's edition of CES 1984 (toghether with +4 and C116). Sadly it doesn't report the exact date of that edition, while it does for january's (10th) Edition and the then cancelled 264/364... The whole history of TED based machines is interesting, especially for those who think that Commodore became inept only with the Amiga, but they really were since the beginnig. Bill Herd's reports about TED's fiasco are sort of "funny"...
