Hi there, I have a problem formatting an 8mb SRAM Card with the tool PrepcardClick image for full original sizeWhen I try to format it as system ram, I get an error that the card is write protected which she isn't in fact!Might the card be dead ?!

@ruffNECAs far as i know the amiga pcmcia only takes 4mb max, 8mb will not work

@amigatwell I heard it can only USE 4mb it should work too...any other ideas?
@ruffNECdo you have a ram expansion card in the trap door? if yes take it out and try the pcmcia again
@amigatno I haven't... the SRAM should work without the battery ... so is there another tool that allows formatting?I'm not sure if this card is broken or not. at least its recognised by the amiga
