Wikipedia specifically noted that the regular PC-10 has a ATI card as well but Commodore info states that it has a CGA graphics card. But the site isn't completely up to date.

Then it sounds like AMD is taking the ATI years and adding it to their own. Which wouldn't be exactly right. "Combined experience." I've read up on the history of ATI but have to admnit I haven't fully read this article yet.

I can't remember the details, but when I read on the edge the rise and fall of commodore it mentioned that pc's used vic/pet chips for the chip on their display cards. we are talking for about a decade.i recall ferretting on the net for the details and coming up with confirmation.which i found funny. it may have been hurcules cga i cant remember. there was a bit of obsolete pet/vic in every pc right up to the late 80's.whilst the vic II had been in production since 82 :)
