For me the 'most relevant' facts are:
1986 First amiga product purchased by me... A1000 (512mb), 1081, external floppy 1989 Upgraded to B2000 1990 Installed 120mb scsi harddrive 1991? Installed X5000 card 1994 Upgraded to A4000/warp engine(040/25) 1996 Installed Picasso-IV and multisync monitor 2004 Upgraded to A1-XE 2006 XE died, Bought a MicroA1 2008 MicroA1 partially deceased, bought Sam Flex. 2011 Upgraded to X1000
Maybe 'relevant' was the wrong word choice _________________ OS4 Rocks X1000 beta tester, Sam440 Flex (733)

| I can't give an accurate history, but I will join in the fun and tell you my favorite Amiga moment. 1990 - connecting to the college library from my dorm room via dial up modem and reserving books. And the amazement of my friends who had PC's and couldn't do the same thing.
And games in STEREO! Seriously, blew everyone away, and I had a line of people waiting to play Battle Squadron and Killing Game Show. Those were the days.

| THE most relevant event in Amiga history would have been the release of the Video Toaster. This created a niche that would have placed Amiga on par with Windows/Mac. But Commodore bungled things by failing to keep the Amiga's graphics capabilities well ahead of the competition...
My two cents...
