@Trekiej

Soon. Unless other nasty bugs come to our attention.

@paolone

Hi!

Reading around the net I have seen that OWB in Icaros Desktop 2.0 will support HTML5 video playback - is this indeed the case?

Thanks,

-Larry

That's the goal, but deadwood made no promise that it will be available in the first Icaros 2.0 version.

@BSzili

ok then be more precise

"The goal is to have the features that are in MorphOS version working under AROS including HTML video. So far it is a re-compilation with features similar to version 1.16 but with newer HTML/JavaScript engine.

The first public version will be made available in Icaros 2.0. The port will require latest nightly build to run."

Unless Deadwood will do another miracle in the next days, Icaros Desktop 2.0 will unlikely provide OWB 1.2x with embedded video support. What it will surely provide, however, is a newer OWB version which does better what v1.16 already did (faster and more compatible with todays websites).
