According to the following news on Acube's site, the Sam460CR was supposedly to be available for sale on Saturday 25th. A week has nearly passed and there is no sign of it. Now I know I am not exactly a patient person, but why say something will be available "later today" and then ignore your own press release?

At least have the decency to put a message that "unforeseen circumstances has delayed the release" or something like that.

They never said the CR would be available immediately for sale, did they? They merely said the online shop would get updated. The update can be anything: an ETA, a more detailed info on the product, whatever.

Thanks. Funny that Relec got them before Amigakit. What is also funny is that the board in the picture K-L links to still says "Sam460ex". I don't think cost reduction should go THAT far

I doubt very much that Relec, or anyone else has the CR in stock.

Selling a bare board is an issue until you have a version of the AmigaOS DVD that can boot with a RadeonHD HD5000 or HD6000 or even HD7000 series graphics card.

It was a unique day for an announcement (AmiWest and Alchemie) .
Any other day would not have had the same impact .
Give them some time to sort things out.

It was a perfect day for an announcement. I give them that. But they ruined it by saying that it will be for sale on the day when obviously it was not. That's all. Did more harm than good.

Relec are selling complete configurations so if you cant wait you could contact them.
Probably means that you would pay Euro 105.00 for the OS and not Euro 30.00 if you wait for AmigOS4.1 Final Edition .
