@g01df1sh

last official update on kickstarter was
"Hey all
I know its been a while since I updated. Just wanted to keep you in the loop. I also strongly encourage anyone who wants more up-to-the-minute updates and treats to friend Viva Amiga on Facebook. There is always a lot of activity and discussion there, due to the social media aspects.

Everything seems to be on track for a watch able version in mid-november. At that time, we will make final tweaks and prepare the animations for final rendering, which will take some problem solving.
It's pretty much all graphics work now, and it's quite a beast. But so, so worth it."

And on the Facebook page they have been teasing and showing all the CGI models made for the film, so I think the film most deferentially still happing, just taken longer than everyone thought. I would expect it to be out sometime next year which will be a nice way to celebrate the 30th Anniversary.

However I'm not going to hold my breath for all the goodies promise in the kickstarter as I believe he said he spent all the money and more on the film so far. As long as I get the DVD I will be happy.

@g01df1sh

2015 would be a better year for a release IMHO.

I backed this project on Kickstarter a thousand years ago.

Will I ever be able to watch it?

Any news about "Viva Amiga" being ready to be available to the public? Was there really a premiere show back in Amiga30 event?

@Templario
Three years? The project was funded over 4 years ago...
Anyway, coincidentially I just asked them some days ago about the release data on their FB page as well as on the Kickstarter page. Guess what: no reaction. Alas, same procedure as every year, it seems.

@number6
New Kickstarter - Amiga - The Quantum Leap:
Thanks for telling! Although at first I was quite shocked because the name of the guy behind that is Dan Waddington... so my first thought was "oh no, maybe a brother of Zach Weddington, that will be another neverending story"... So glad I was mistaken
EDIT: yep, sounds good and reasonable, just put some bucks into it.
