Only if you can modify the cards firmware so it has the same ID as Elbox's spider which themselves are modified standard cards. You'll still need the drivers that come with the Spider and you'll also need the Poseiden USB stack. |

I have a spider USB card. It works great. Definitely worth the purchase if you already own a Mediator busboard.

I have version 3.21 of the spider.device and 9.9 of the pci.library. I havent tried other ports on the Spider USB now that I think of it... guess I will try that.
I am glad your LT4 workes well. Running an A1200 without PCI cards is bogus :)

Funny how they allowed you to use standard VGA cards and network cards but then stopped at USB.
The Spider card makes an expensive but well working USB2 solution for the A1. |

Lol actually one port would be ok for me too but it's just that port 2 is below my case plastic so I need higher Ports to work as week plus I'd like the internal port to work as I want to put a cable accessible at my front face plate so I don't have to reach to the back I my case each time to pull out a usb stick

The Spider came later when the initial surge of Mediator sales a so they probably decided to factor in the development cost of the driver and healthy profit into price of the Spider. It was also still considerably cheaper than a Subway or Highway if you already had a Mediator.
