Oh absolutely. You made a very good case with well thought out arguments and I especially enjoyed the free form approach to your thinking. Too many people stick to a narrative which is blinkered in scope and I think you've just exposed how limited that strategy is.

Well, this is much better than someone running around yelling, "What's the frequency, Kenneth!? What's the frequency!?" :D :D

Mind you, sometimes it seems like that level of craziness here. :)

Okay, not quite as much as it used to be, mind.

@NomadOfNorad

QRG LA7GIA?

(I advise googling the tokens separately. It's a very very internal ham radio club joke from a student ham radio society so I doubt you'll get much sense from the complete phrase)

edit: forgot the question mark.

@olegil

Actually, I was making reference to a weird incident in the 1980s:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dan_Rather#.22Kenneth.2C_what_is_the_frequency.3F.22

http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=What%27s%20the%20frequency%2C%20Kenneth%3F

@NomadOfNorad

Did you google QRG and LA7GIA, then? As an extra hint, the sing-along version of REMs related hit is rather shorter at said ham radio club

But thanks, I didn't know where they got their inspiration. Love the song.

@olegil

Well, I searched and saw that QRG = "the frequency," and.... some stuff saying LA7GIA was some club's call letters....

I'm guessing QRG in of this string is meant to be read as "What's the frequency?!" but on the other hand, LA7GIA doesn't sound anything like "Kenneth!" so I must be missing something.... oO

Then you really failed that Google search. It's Kenneths personal callsign:

@olegil,

Hmm, took almost a year to get to the point!

Edit to be more on topic.

Ah. To be honest, I've never really had that much patience when pursuing a puzzle-quest, those usually bore me. :)
