Hi guys!

Have you seen this?

https://www.picozu.com/editor/

This one works only in Amiga Mozilla, not in OWB.

Anyway I've seen also this one:

https://pixlr.com/

Works amazing but requires Flash [for Amiga]...

I guess there's more stuff online :)

p.s. http://www.photopea.com/ - works in OWB but slow :)

@djnick

I love Pixrl since a long time, but indeed it doesn't work on AOS4 due to the Flash requirement :(

Hey guys, I'm the lead developer behind the Picozu project, I'm glad you're liking our little toy :)

If there is anything I can help in order to optimize the user experience and application speed for the AmigaOS and MorphOS users, let me know, I'm more than glad to assist.

Marius.

@classpm

That's amazing. Extending compatibility with owb would be great.

@Develin

It works on MOS!? So OWB differs on MOS and AmigaOS? MOS OWB is newer version? OWB has Flash built?

Thank you for the kind words guys :)

@paolone

I've been playing with the latest Icaros Desktop under VirtualBox and from what I can see, OWB 1.23 doesn't have support for Web Workers and that's one of the problems.

Is there a difference between OWB on MorphOS and the Icaros Desktop one? Sorry if I'm asking stupid questions, I don't have access to PowerPC hardware.

Marius.

later edit: Just applied a fix to the editor for Workers support and behold : Picozu should work on OWB 1.23 now, though some functions/tools that use Workers would still fail.

@all

Works here with OS4.1 Odyssey Browser1.23,
when you allow "local storage" in Prefs from Odyssey.

Greetings

@TearsOfMe

Worked for me after unselection that option "useing" and then reselecting it and "using" again.

Whether that was because of the classpms change or because of a browser quirk I don't know. Before that it hung on the pink screen with just the JOIN logo showing and no way to click anything.

Needless to say it a bit slow, even on an X1000 so SketchBlock is safe for a while yet

Works on my x1000 with os4.1 Odyssey Browser1.23. Many of the effects nothing happens.

Cool you can do alot of stuff today with the browsers.

@Kicko

Too bad OWB doesn't have Worker support as seen here http://html5test.com/s/f2da281e26a4c1ab.html, this makes all the Picozu's filters unusable since we're using threading support to delegate heavy processing functions outside the browser so it won't turn unresponsive.

Maybe on a newer Webkit core :)

@classpm

The newer version of Odyssey (which I uses) do score a little higher than that and seems to have partial worker support : http://html5te.st/ad8f77248e849f17

@djnick

Yes, there is a flash plugin available for MorphOS-version of Odyssey (called swfdec) but I don't think this is needed here.

@Develin

That is really nice, I guess I can streamline the code a bit when it does run on *older* hardware so that we can squeeze a bit of extra speed and browser responsiveness.

@classpm: nice work! Any chance clipboard access works across the whole OS ? Right now it's not possible for example to copy an image to the clipboard from Chrome, Paint, whatever, and paste it into Picozu. At least not on Windows.

@Leo

It's planned, not yet implemented, each OS has its own funky way of dealing with the clipboard.
