Hi All

I cannot log into AmiStore today, anyone else having this same problem?

I get a window pop up with following message:

'Unable to login to AMIShere account:

-Download client cannot be started
(check AMIStore installation or if RexxMast running)'

@Lozspd4

It seems to be working now but have noted. How do I turn L2 cache off?

@sicky
why? Keep it because it improves speed (theoretically).

The obviously reason may be that your ip (which rotates) was blacklisted by the ISP. So forget it. Next time you can try to restart your router(assuming modem is included) to fetch a new ip

Its better to open amistore first then start the l2 cache program, But i Honestly havent seen speed improvements with the program activated on normal everyday programs.

@sicky

There probably is a program called L2Cache in your WBStartup or user-startup, comment it out or delete it from WBSatartup

As other have already said this program brings more CONS than it does bring PROS

Even the readme states:
Quote:
To be noted: IT MAY CAUSE SYSTEM INSTABILITY AND/OR DATA CORRUPTION
if for some reason the OS perfom some operation which can cause incoherency
between L2 cache and main memory, use it at your own risk !

That would be the kind of program i'd never run, not even for 35% more ragemem score (who cares btw?)
