| I didnt realise until i was trying to use camtasia to record video, that i am ahving trouble with sounds, especially microphone.
If i try to use Camtasia to record while using WINUAE, it wont be able to record my microphone (or any audio actually). I also noticed that when i have WINUEA on background, I cant use youtube at least with Firefox.
Firefox-youtube combination does so, that it plays video for couple of seconds, and then reports error. However, close WINUA, restart firefox, and it works just fine again.
My guess is that WINUAE somehow takes the sounds exclusively for itself, hence preveneting for example recording audio with camtasia videocapture.
I am using WINUA with WIN7 machine.
Anyone know how to solve this problem? Can i do something in WINUEA menus?
I was able to record with Camtasia just fine usiong microphone, as long as i disabled sounds from WINUAE, but If I would like to recrod something like a longplay video, then this i couldnt do, as i would need sounds from WINUAE recorded as well, and that wont work with sounds disabled. maybe try this.
in your soundcard settings (playback devices) for windows, select the sound card you using, and go too advance tab, at the bottom see if exclusive mode is activated _________________ nox's in the house! |

Seems that was partial fix.
You were right that windows was giving right to have exclusive access, so i turned this option off.
However, when i now tried to start Amikit, I couldnt get sounds to work at all. I can click "enabled" on amikits sounds section, but when i run it, it automatically chagned it into "disabled (but emulated)" option.
I havent yet tried turning camtasia off, and see if it works without camtasia turned on, sicne it is processing a video right now. |

| @solved.
Found the problem finally. It seems i had chosen in Amikit such a sound option that was giving the problem. changing WINUAE: default or something like that it was, and problem got solved. I was now able to record with Camtasia WINUA usage with sounds.
Thanks noXLar, I wouldnt have found the problem without you pointing out that exclusiveness thing in windows.
