Hi, can someone instruct me on how & where to get the Star Wars Jedi Knight games for my Samflex? Also, are they good games and will they work well on 800mhz Samiga?
Tuxcart = too slow to be playable

@JayCee

Jedi Outcast

Jedi Academy

You need datafiles from original games (links are only to OS4 binaries). Speed, cant say - played only on Windows. Good games? Splendid!

No, no, no, it'll be too slow. There is a video on youtube of one of the games runing on a X1000 with a Radeon 9250 and it itsn't very fast even on that. I've tried it on my A1 XE with a Radeon 9250 and it was really slow.

@hotrod
I`ve just tried it on the same hardware XE 1ghz and with everything turned right down its like you say not playable enough to enjoy it.

@hotrod

I confirm, I tried it too on my X1000/R9250, unplayable !

How it can be the first OS4 game in Obligement Games award ?

@zzd10h

Beats me. I definitely do not recommend any of those games for a Sam. I get around 12-15 FPS in action heavy sequences on my Pegasos II. That is less than half of the framerate I have with MorphOS on the same machine with the same settings.
