Hi. Asking about this CF card as sticked an old reader in this cp Win7 so could it be used to transfer files how hard/easily to a DT A1200 with a HD that would be very happy for some.

Can there be the same format? The A1200 is quite vanilla 3,9 but could be copied something if needed with the tower by disk. It's pcmcia slot is occupied with the ethernet card in a 90 angle adapter so not bothering to swap anything there.

Ather good uses for this slot? I see pictures where people have cards sticking in the side but never really used it my self! (Bad, baad PR!!!)

What is the GB limit in this. Recommendations? Scandisk. Kingston like etc:

Offcourse the biggest possible and the A1200 has an ATX power if needed.

Any nice gadgeds? Transfer things. Memory maybe not for use as there is this weird ´020 turbo with 8mb fast?

Very interested to hear from the usages and it would help a lot to transfer from the pc if not too difficult.

@A1200

Thank You.

Got two and one card. Sandisk works, Kingston does not. (4GB) Ide adaptor for that?

This project took very long as ordered here in different countries. For a few weeks been and liked to Thank now lately and not never;)

Luckily my old pc had a multiple CF etc. reader etc so now can transfer Amiga-PC-Amiga. Put in the new pc and it works. Great!

The A1200 does work well with the AmiKits adaptor. It has an 8MB '020 (28Mhz) "turbo" and a 2,5 HD with a pc power supply. This is just for compability.

Only Getting 4mb Fast if the CF pcmcia is inserted. There was some patch that done wrong or is it just the limits?

Another Questioin:

What about a vanilla A1200 to put ide CF 4GB and pcmcia 4GB with an original power supply?

Or Better with only the HD-side..?

(First Fastmem needed, then more PSU power?)
