@AmigaBlitter

Welcome back!

Not sure how long you have been gone for, but to save typing I did a blog post summarising developments on Amiga in 2014 if you are interested:

http://amigax1000.blogspot.com.au/2014/12/looking-back-at-2014-on-amiga.html

I regularly update my blog with interesting developments for Classic and NG Amiga and a yearly look back summary post if you want to review back in history a bit more!

Catcha,
Epsilon

It seems new unified GFX library has some side effects, but developers are working on solution. Only some platforms are affected - eg. I don´t have any such problems in WinUAE/OS4.1FE.

Can they work on the problem if its the FINAL EDITION? They may correct them in 4.2 but surely 4.1 is packaged as complete, no more, nada!

@AmigaBlitter

Purchased 2, Sam440 and Classic, planned to install it shortly.

I am not aware of any critical issues.

@Massi

New GFX library? No more Picasso 96 (wrapper only), all GFX is now in graphics.library.

You probably meant side effects: There were some problems with dual GFX card setups. It is advisable to have backup of working 4.1.6 installation, just in case.

not really. the last update regarding AOS4.2 was at amiwest this past year. apparently it won't ship until the new OpenGL layer is ready (gallium3D support, etc.). but in the interim FE is a great release at a great price.
