Can you make it easier to see what page you are on in ignition? :)
I'm just a newbie so i might have missed something but i'm creating a document with many pages and some of them have similar names and the limited space for the page names in the down right makes it hard to know on what page you really are since it can only hold 15 characters.

I think that it is not a problem to expand the page-namefield, i put this point on my feature-list for the actual work on beta5.

Maybe I am dense, but I can't find a new binary, only the binary from 2016. Is there a new binary to try, or should I download all the source files and try to build it myself?

I've tried several .ods files from the net and every time I open/load a file it appears squeezed. So nothing can be seen. Formulas and data are in cells but I have to adjust rows' and lines' dimensions or mark an area and choose a font size. No such problem with Ignition own format.
Maybe I have to change something in prefs?

you do not make anything wrong, i also have this problem
i think i found the problem, the file defines his cell-width and cell-high in inch. my plugin only "knows" mm and pixel. i will solve the problem the next days...
thank you for reporting this, it is a good example to help me to make my tools better.

error is found and corrected. if you need a correction or you want to test it, write me a mail and you can get a beta before the next release of the addon.

Thanks to everyone for telling me how to download it. There is no "Files" button or menu item on the page, but when I type /Files/ in the URL, I can see the new binary and download it.

It doesn't read TurboCalc or Excel files any more? I can't see them in the "Open File" requester and there is no filter in the ASL requester.

yes , it is really a problem with this new sourceforge-page for amiga-users, because we have not a actual browser.

the problem with loading tcd files in the ignition beta5 is a old description file in the add-ons directory.
please open the file turbocalc.iodescr and change the line
SHORT=tc
to
SHORT=tcd
and save it. now you can see turbocalc files in the asl-browser
ignition can not read excel-files. with the ods-addon from the os4depot/aminet you can read/write ods files. you can export in excel to this ods-format.
if you install the ods-addon, you also get a corrected turbocalc.iodescr file

In Odyssey there is a drop-down menu with "Files" and other options that were previously displayed on the page itself.

Move your mouse pointer over the elipsis ( ... ) on the right side of the page and a drop-down menu will appear. You might need to scoll down the page to bring the elipsis closer to the top of the page to see the whole menu.

Select menu "Preferences/edit...". Doubleclick "Format Templates". Click "New" button on the lower left of the window. I'm not sure if I got it right but here are the settings I chose:

Type: Value
Priority: 0
Format: $0
Decimal Places: 2
Alignment: Right

Select a cell (or several) and select menu "Object/Cell/Properties". In the "Cell Properties"
window, select your newly created template.
