What Amiga(like) OS is best. Whoever wins is the ultimate winner ever, so tell your fellow fanbois to vote or you will lose!

@A1200

I can't vote either but to me I like AOS 3.x for classic Amigas. They kind of belong together for nostalic reasons, history and they where made for them. You can tell.

AOS 4 for NG Amigas because it feals just like AOS 3.x and works the same but with lots and lots of improvements.

MOS feals like something different and is not for me.

AROS also feals like something different and is not for me.

I can't vote either because I'm not a member. I used to be a member, but then I got dismembered.

@Thread

What a pointless thread. We've got more than one flavour of Amiga-like OS whether we like it or not so let's learn to live together without antagonising the other parties. It's doubtful many people have actually used all the different OSes in order to gauge which one is BEST!

This is a waste of time and will only start a flame war!!

@A1200

I voted AmigaOS4, as this is what I have been using. (I have never used MorphOS), I have used AROS a long long time ago, but rally there is good and bad for etch.

All I can really say for sure is that AmigaOS4.x is better than AmigaOS3.x, as 3.x is an older version, that lacks many of newer features, and improvements.

If you're going to run old games then AmigaOS3.x is the only OS you should use, in the same way you need MacOS7 or MacOS8 to run old games. or some time Windows95 or MSDDOS aka DOSBox.

Anyway I like MacOS9 better then I like MacOSX, while MacOSX is the better one, this can be subjective.

Only AmigaOS up to 3.9, and only for the games and demos... Everything else is crap and waste of precious time.
