After updating U-Boot in my A500 the icons of SD card partitions won't show
in the Workbench. Why's that? They appear if I e.g. peek those partitions
with DOPUS.

@m3x

It could be possible to introduce in the next release of Sam460 Uboot the option to boot dvd from 460ex sata2 port?

ATM is present the choice for only booting HD from 460ex sata 2 port...

You know, I've my dvd rom connected to the sata onboard of my 460ex

@thread

Just to resurrect a dead thread, I've found a keyboard that works.

I got a custom WASD Keyboard. It has DIP switches to change the A and Alt keys. It works with the new UBoot. I now have DDR2 Boost with read and write.

In case anyone else is interested, I have an Inkscape template for the keys and layout.

This happens to me at every reboot. I have to unplug any USB stick and plug it in again for the OS to detect it. I hadn't made the connection but now that I think of it, the problem began just after I updated U-boot. Have I missed a setting or do I have a problem?

edit: This is weird. Now it works but I have done nothing that would make it work. I have had the problem for weeks but now it work just fine.

The weirdest thing is that this kind of stuff happens to me all the time. I can try really hard to get someting connected to computers to work without success. Suddenly it just fixes itself without me doing anyhing that would make it work. Maybe I have a guardian angel that is good at computers?

Gawd.

It's probably seven years since the first SAMs was released. Elementary fundamental essential things like this should be in place before release.

Amiga and the AmigaOS is made to be constantly reset. Me had been pissed and certainly not filled the web pages with dancing bananas.

Is there any news about an update for the keyboard problem?

I just tried around 100 times to buy the update with paypal and it does not work? I only get a blank site.....

EDIT: Got now a Email with download Link.

Edit2: Just installed and work fine. No Problems with my Keyboard+Mouse. Boot from SD Card now works from my Case cardreader! Thanks!

m3x, any plans for a bug fixed version regarding USB keyboards?

Some help for you:
Logitech K360: working in both Uboot and AmigaOS 4.1.8
ACE CUB101: working in both Uboot and AmigaOS 4.1.8
Logitech UltraX Keyboard, Model Name Y-BL49, P/N 867510-0106: DOES NOT work in Uboot, but is working in AmigaOS 4.1.8.

Writing this with the UltraX keyboard connected to a Sam460ex running AmigaOS 4.1.8 (FE Update 1).

The K360 and CUB101 are both missing the right Windows key which is (ironically) a big no no for an Amiga.

@LimoU.Sin

what i meant was, when resetting via software after os4 update and reset request from other applications and using reset combination on keyboard would normal not work, but sometimes.. it went into black screen and it stayed just black, i could hear it booted up, so i could be something with the graphic card.

but, the fast reset command always worked, so i used that.. anyway, everything work now

@imagodespira

It took me also a few months to pay the goods in their store, an update of their webshop software would not hurt...
