Yes : ) just for fun.. but due to the "value" I would ask for a huge amount ; )

so how many AmigaCoins would equal one IndieCoin? Can I pay using some AmigaCoins and obviously mostly 'real' money via PayPal?

Small update about AmiCloud:
Currently in development on the server-front:
Enhancing Admin tool
Adding sub-folder support
adding messaging system (send users messages and data as in Skype)
moving to 10times larger storage
Raising storage for beta users to 5GB
Adding Pro-accounts

The Pro Accounts will feature 50GB storage with no traffic limitation for 5€/month.
As soon you apply to this subscription (paypal or stripe/creditcard) you will get a folder inside your amicloud called "gift box"
As the name suggests you will find from time to time gifts in form of free apps, games, music or operating systems in this folder.

@All
AmiCloud beta 5 is now available in the indieGO! Appstore.

::: CHANGELOG (BETA 05 - 02/03/2016)
- [FIX] Fixed a severe bug on Windows clients that was not allowing anymore to upload files after some changes on cloud server.
This is the bug that was talking about Bugala and Tarzin, tested on Windows, all right now.

- [FIX] Fixed a bug on Linux that was preventing the automatic execution of the ACManager helper program.
If you remember there was the problem launching the ACManager because I was (wrongly) omitting the prefix ./ to execute the ACManager, now it works, I've tested it on Linux Mint 17 (VirtualBox).

- [FIX] The client can be iconified/reduced to icon.
Someone was complaining about the iconify gadget not present on the Amiga-like systems, in this build I've explicity set this gadget but on AROS it does not show, I suspect that if the window size is fixed (like for the AmiCloud main window) for some reason the iconify gadget disappear, i need to investigate further. Anyway the option to start the program iconified works, but once de-iconified it cannot be iconified back because of the missing gadget. If I cannot find a solution I will add a gadget in the interface to iconify the program. On linux & windows works without problems.

- [NEW] Upload buffer and download buffer sizes can now be customized
Since everyone have different Internet speed I've added the possibility to tweak the download and upload buffer sizes, it can be done from the preferences window.

- [NEW] Polling interval can now be customized
Again, from the preferences window the user can change the polling frequency. The default value is 20 seconds, There is no limit for the higher value so people can decide to check for updates every 30 minutes, for example, setting this value in seconds -> 30*60 = 1800 seconds. The lower limit is 5 seconds to do not poll to much our server, if needed I can raise this value.

- [NEW] Monocore system-friendly mode can be used on single-core systems
There is another option in the configuration window, setting this flag the file list elaboration is less CPU intensive because for every loop the program will friendly-wait for 3 milliseconds, this value is hardcoded but since I've no way to test it I need you to check if this work on AmigaOS4 :) On AROS there is no lag with or without this flag, but it's because the processor speed of my host machine.

The Storage will be raised tomorrow to 5GB for beta users.

AmiCloud's Pro accounts will be made available during this month.
At first Pro Users will get 25GB storage without a traffic limit (also you get access to all clients)
On top you get access to the latest AEROS for Pi and Odroid builds as well as a 15€ voucher every 12 month usable in the indieGO! Appstore.

Sub-folder support is coming as well as a chat function... chatting and sharing files makes sense ; )

AmiCloud basic is available in the indieGO!-Appstore or on www.ares-shop.de

@phoenixkonsole

Just tested under OS4.
With Polling interval & Monocore mode, I can keep AmiCloud GUI open when using Odyssey.

Far better, thank you to you & Allanon !

We are now offering a subscription for AmiCloud Pro and AEROS for Pi
The price is 5€/month (credit card only handled by stripe.com)

What you get now is:
5GB traffic free storage
Access to all AmiCloud clients for all systems
Access to AEROS Plus for the Raspberry Pi family
After 12 month a free upgrade to AEROS Premium (including free shipping)

Starting July 2016 the storage will be raised to 25GB for Pro users.

www.amicloud.de (check the subscription) or www.aeros-os.org

Subscription can be canceled at any point (in case of the 50€/year deal, we would refund you the partially unused amount )

If you cancel the subscription you can still use be basic functionality with 5 gb storage.

If you skip the free sd-card shipping, you can save the credits and get 12 month later a raspberry pi 3 or similar priced arm SOCs.

Over the next months we will release a catalog of apps and Hardware you can choose from every 12 month or more if you skip once.

(Pi, Odroids, Netbooks, Games and apps).

PM is not possible (I've got a "blacklisted message")

My address is:
ah5VuAibPt2JSaZfSTqwZF242fUdAMyjnZ

Are you aware that the "." in germany cuts of the 1000er so large number can be read more easily ? : )

100.000€ is = 100000€
not 100€ and no cents..

Just a note : )

68K version is available but it needs an RTG card.

Ok.. But how much is one € compared to AmigaCoins in you eyes : )

The amount I have told you is what i have mined in 2014.. I must admit with a ATi HD7xxx optimized miner.

ah well the fastest Radeon HD is in my Amiga and unfortunately no miner for us so I use my old notebook PC and if memory serves me correctly I'm lucky if I make over 200 in a day

hmm I got a good idea I can email the creator of AmigaCoins and ask him what he thinks 1 euro is worth nowadays so we can have a general idea of the bitcoin market!

ok so he got back to me but it's tough to gauge the value of AmigaCoins since obviously AmigaCoins don't get traded as often as bitcoins which are currently at 1 bitcoin= $400 USD (Wow I had to do a double take when i say that!) so it's up to us to decide a value.

So how's about 500 AmigaCoins=$1USDas a start?

@klx300r
Check this:
https://liike.website/users/trades.php?market=aga-btc

Compared to how long it took for me to mine the amount plus the exchange rate I would say that my offer is very nice : )

I need to check how much a pi2 or pi3 can mine in a hour.

@phoenixkonsole

hmm so site you linked says 2036.998 AmigaCoins = 1 bitcoin or 0.00004074 AmigaCoin = 1 bitcoin???

anyhow lets make a realistic value based on how many AmigaCoins you can mine in a full day since I'm sure the electricity cost of running the hardware must be worth more than $1/day?

For me, using an 1.6Ghz single core old notebook I'm lucky to get close to 200 a day. I will tryn using some old parts here to get a Linux distro running with more powerful graphics card and CPU but of course that full desktop setup will make more AmigaCoins but also it will cost much more to keep running all day mining...still think it's cool to see as who would have thought bitcoins back then would be worth as much as they are today

@klx300r
To get Amicoins on par with Bitcoins, we need connections to the Mafia : )

The price per unit is 0.00000002BTC which translates to 0,000008457cents
So my 135.812 request is worth = 1$ and 15cents : )

I've tried to mine a bit on my Odroid : )

How many hash/s can you get ~ on your netbook?
In the image above I've used a custom build of cpuminer limited to 2 threads.
Each reaching ~2 khash/s
I could go up to 4x 2khash/s + 4 x 0.6khash/s when running on all 8 cores.

The odroid consumes than 20W.

The best would be an ATI card with a gpuminer.. My 7750 is passively cooled and does 158khash/s while consuming 43W + the PC but it is just a lowend system...
