I think that someone at Amiga HQ could spill some news.

Wait?

Are not those responsible always on holyday?

How long have they talked about multicore support, one year?... no. Two years?... No! Throughout almost SEVEN years!

The first AmigaOne X1000 prototype machines using the 64-bit dual-core PWRficient PA6T-1682M (PowerPC) Processor were manufactured during mid-2009 and Hyperion Entertainment began the process of porting the AmigaOS to the X1000 in late-2009.

What the #### is X? - It's ####!

@AmigaBlitter

As long as you're asking questions, I'll repeat one I asked a few weeks ago after Iggy reported seeing the Sam460CR appear for sale and disappear only a day or so later:

Is the Sam460CR available for purchase or not?

And IF it is, then is the rebate program (refund for AmigaOS4.1 FE) after purchase of Sam460CR still in place or not?

Some of the things you're asking about is confidential, status has not changed from community point of view, when something new is reported it's going to be posted on Hyperion site or in the blog.

What we know is that there will be update to AmigaOS4.1 final, so I do not think we should expect SMP soon.

There is a SDK for the XMOS chip, you can program it, but no one has found a usage for it.

It's funny we still wait and wait. Nice hobby but for my work I have to wait also for customers and yesterday nobody came... (apartments, accommodation..)

Hopefully the wait is worth it as it is Chrismas on the way again.

Hint hint payable customers as we are usually in some careers and not the school nerds anymore.

I'll buy OS4,2 for XE today if possible when integrated the necessities.

Nokia may make a new phone? Buying that too, virtually:)
